eSilicon Selects ProPlus' NanoSpice and NanoYield for 16nm Memory IP Designs
NanoSpice, NanoYield Implemented Into eSilicon's Advanced Design Flow for 28/16nm Designs
SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwired - Jul 21, 2015) -ProPlus Design Solutions, Inc. today announced that eSilicon Corporation, a leading independent semiconductor design and manufacturing solutions provider, has selected its high-performance parallel SPICE simulator and its variation analysis platform for advanced intellectual property (IP) designs at 28-nanometer (nm), 16nm and beyond.
eSilicon selected ProPlus' NanoSpice™ for its high accuracy and superior performance, which are needed to tackle the increasing challenges of advanced designs, such as memory characterization, large block simulation and verification. eSilicon also adopted NanoYield™ for its highly accurate and high-performance high-sigma technologies to analyze the impact of process variations on analog and memory designs, in order to achieve optimum yield versus power, performance and area trade-offs.
Both tools have been validated by intensive evaluations for different types of designs and implemented into eSilicon's design flow to help eSilicon develop and deliver complex integrated circuits (ICs) and various memory and custom IP offerings.
